Fidelio Cruise Software GmbH
Since its
foundation in 1995, Fidelio Cruise Software GmbH has built up
a worldwide client base in the cruise industry through its continuous
innovation in the design, installation and support of IT systems
which ensure effective passenger and crew handling and optimise
inventory control.
It has built
up a wealth of knowledge and expertise and its latest break-through
is an add-on to its powerful Fleet Management System (FMS) called
the Crew Management System (CMS).
Based on already-proven
crew handling software developed by the company, this supports
numerous aspects of the overall shoreside and shipboard crew human
resource operation with significant benefits for cruise line productivity.
The system
addresses all aspects of crew management, tracking recruitment,
terminations and re-employment, promotions and demotions, appraisals
and disciplinaries, personal data and occupational position and
movement history.
Fidelio has
also developed a range of modules (which can be fully integrated
with customers’ existing systems) to enhance the functionality
of its existing products:
- FC Ship’s
Property Management System (SPMS) - for comprehensive passenger,
crew and visitor handling.
- FMS -
fleetwide activity monitoring from a cruise line’s headquarters.
- FC Materials
Manager System (MMS) - centralised purchasing control.
Meal Count System - designed to raise galley and restaurant
efficiency, improve service levels and reduce waste.
- Micros
Integrated Point of Sale (POS) System (Fidelio Cruise Software
GmbH is a subsidiary of MICROS Systems Inc, the world’s
leading developer of enterprise applications, exclusively serving
the hospitality and speciality retail industries).
With offices
in Hamburg, Fort Lauderdale and Kuala Lumpur, Fidelio Cruise has
software systems aboard more than 200 ships managed by 40 cruise
lines. These are supported 24/7 by Fidelio’s global real-time
network.
