The Tunis head office of the Afrimar Group has become a one-stop shop for cruise lines deploying ships to North African ports.

Afrimar Tunisia is now responsible for all operations, logistics, finance and performances across North Africa, covering Algeria, Libya, Morocco as well as Tunisia.

The office is now linked with the group’s other North Africa locations by an updated computerised system to enable 24/7 communication of all necessary information.

For cruise line clients, it does not just act as a port agency, shore excursions and transfers organiser and crew exchange facilitator but will also help plan itineraries in North Africa.
It will help develop new ideas and put in place the necessary tools and procedures to increase the market potential.

Essentially, it sees its role as a North African extension of each principal’s organisation.
As an operator in North Africa for the past 30 years, it has the contacts and expertise to handle all ships and all the issues that surround a cruise call.

But Afrimar is always looking to improve its service so it is now on the road to an ISO-Certificate for Quality Management with all work processes being examined.
